Makiko Mori has been teaching the delicate art of Japanese cuisine to both Japanese and foreigners for over 15 years. She presents regularly baking and cooking classes for the international community as well as for various other special events in the Yokohama area. Certified with a degree in Natural Food and Nutrition, Makiko focuses on traditional Japanese food incorporating natural and local ingredients from various regions of Japan. Her signature recipes include Jumbo Organic Vegetable Sandwiches, Japanese-style Wrap-Hacks, Low-calorie Pita Sandwiches, Tofu and Matcha Scones and Jumbo Cookies. Makiko holds a national certificate in both Japanese and Chinese herbal medicine. Makiko both bakes regularly and also prepares our lunch time weekly specials.
