7artscafe is a Yokohama-based cafe, cultural space, and creative community bringing together food, art, music, education, and people from Japan and around the world.
We are currently looking for a part-time F&B staff member to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone with previous experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly someone with kitchen experience, who enjoys working in a small, creative, and international environment.
Part-Time F&B / Kitchen Staff
We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and flexible team member to assist with the day-to-day operation of 7artscafe.
Responsibilities
・Food preparation and kitchen assistance
・Preparing menu items according to 7artscafe recipes and standards
・Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
・Assisting with cafe service and general restaurant operations
・Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning as needed
・Maintaining proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation standards
・Working collaboratively with our small team
・Helping create a welcoming experience for our customers and community
Because 7artscafe combines hospitality, culture, and creative programming, staff may also occasionally assist with events, workshops, exhibitions, and other activities taking place at the cafe.
Schedule
Saturday: Approximately 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We are also looking for someone who can, whenever possible, work one additional weekday shift per week.
7artscafe is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, so weekday availability would be Wednesday through Friday.
Flexibility is important. Our schedule can vary depending on events, programs, and business needs, so we are looking for someone who can work with us when occasional schedule adjustments are necessary.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
・Previous experience working in F&B, cafe, restaurant, or hospitality
・Kitchen experience and confidence with food preparation
・A good understanding of cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization
・A reliable and responsible work ethic
・The ability to work independently as well as part of a small team
・Good communication and interpersonal skills
・A positive and professional attitude
・Flexibility with scheduling and responsibilities
・An interest in working in an international and multicultural environment
・English is not required. However, we value people who are open-minded, adaptable, and comfortable working with both Japanese and international customers and colleagues.
What We Offer
・Hourly wage: from ￥1,350 depending on experience and qualifications
