advancing japanese arts and culture to the world

Founded in 2017, Japanese Culture Promotion and Management (JCPM) is a nonprofit organization established to promote Japanese traditional and contemporary arts and culture through education, artistic exchange, and support for artists.

Before the opening of 7artscafe in 2021, JCPM organized and supported a range of cultural activities, including workshops, lectures, symposiums, and educational programs. Its work reflected a commitment to making the arts more accessible and fostering dialogue between Japanese and international communities.

Since 2021, JCPM's activities have been limited as its founding director's cultural vision has continued to develop through 7artscafe, a cultural destination in Yokohama bringing together art, music, food, and community.

JCPM retains its original mission of promoting Japanese arts and culture and supporting cultural exchange. While it does not currently operate an extensive independent program, its history and mission remain an important part of the broader cultural work associated with 7artscafe.

Future activities may be undertaken as opportunities arise.
