About The Artist

Setsuko Masubuchi was born in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture. She spent her childhood drawing various images of the sea and ocean and fell in love with watercolors. After graduating vocational college with studies in the visual art department, she went on to work as an assistant for a professional cartoonist. She has presented her artworks both in group and solo exhibition throughout Kanto, Kansai and Okinawa. This month, her works are exhibited in Paris, France and later in England. Her collection for the July 2022 7artscafe exhibition are in various media including in watercolor, oil painting, pen and crayon.
